E' ancora possibile iscriversi e inviare un abstract, visto che la deadline è stata prorogata di una settimana; i formats sono disponibili sul sito della Società al link Congresso 2009; si ricorda di provvedere per tempo alla prenotazione degli alberghi.

Si invitano i Soci a tenere presente che il sistema informatico verrà disattivato alle h 24 di domenica 24 maggio, e che oltre quel termine NON saranno più accettate comunicazioni. Lunedì 25 verrà caricato sul sito il file provvisorio degli atti: si invitano tutti coloro che hanno inviato un abstract a controllarne il testo.

Si fa infine presente che nel corso dell'Assemblea dei Soci verrà discussa una proposta di modifica dello Statuto; il testo proposto è visionabile in rete, al link Congresso 2009.

Alessandro Vitale dà notizia del Lecture Workshop on “PROTEIN TRAFFIC IN THE PLANT ENDOMEMBRANE SYSTEM”, che si terrà  presso l'Istituto di Biologia e Biotecnologia Agraria,CNR, Milano, September 13 -15, 2009.

Aim: The endomembrane system of plant cells is involved in virtually any aspect of plant life.This is a lecture workshop providing broad knowledge on the architecture and molecular mechanism of the plant endomembrane system and the secretory pathway, as well as insights into new exciting developments in this field of plant cell biology research.

The workshp will be held at the Area della Ricerca CNR, via Bassini 15, Milano. Maximum 25 participants will be admitted to the workshop, which is devoted to PhD students and post-doctoral fellows. Preference will be given to PhD students. Applicants should submit a short curriculum by e-mail to Alessandro Vitale (vitale@ibba.cnr.it). The participation fee is 210 �, which includes two nights' accommodation (double rooms), coffee breaks, lunches of Monday 14-Tuesday 15 and dinner of Monday 14.
